Ballinluig is on the local cycle path leading to Pitlochry and Dunkeld.

Golf is available on over 5 courses within 20 minutes drive including Pitlochry (18 holes) Aberfeldy (18 holes) Dunkeld (18 holes) Blair Atholl ( 9 holes) Kenmore ( 9 holes) ( Taymouth Castle (18 holes) and over 30 courses within easy reach.

Pitlochry has a putting green, bowling green and a Festival Theatre. Throughout the summer “Highland Nights” are held, outdoors weather permitting, or in the Town Hall, featuring Scottish music, singing and dancing.

Aberfeldy has a putting green, bowling green, tennis courts and swimming pool.

There is a water sports centre at Kenmore where you can hire canoes, go white water rafting etc.
