10 Braeside Road enjoys an ideal location for touring, being just of the A9 close to the junction with the road to Aberfeldy and Loch Tay

Within 15 minutes drive you can visit

Pitlochry a Victorian town with many tourist gift shops, hotels and restaurants, a hydro electric dam and fish ladder and festival theatre. There are two distilleries to visit, Bells distillery and Edradour, which is the smallest distillery in Scotland .

Aberfeldy has a market town feel with an interesting range of shops, a large art gallery and lovely walks up “ The Birks” Castle Menzies, a large stone fortress just outside Aberfeldy has been restored and a further 5 miles through Aberfeldy brings you to Kenmore , a lovely little village at the eastern end of Loch Tay.

Dunkeld to the south has a Cathedral and National Trust for Scotland Little Houses.

Closeby is The Hermitage, a folly overlooking a water fall, The Beatrix Potter Garden and Birnam Wood, mentioned in Shakespeare's McBeth, where there is a large oak tree.

Blair Atholl where there is working water mill and a wonderful Castle open to the public. Blair Castle is the ancient seat of the Dukes of Atholl and home to the Atholl Highlander's, the only private army in Europe . They have an annual parade and Highland Games at the end of May.

Pass of Killiecrankie site of a battle and the famous soldier's leap is now National Trust Property and is most spectacular in the Autumn

Queen's View at Loch Tummel and beauty spot with spectacular views, which are reputed to have impressed Queen Victoria .

Within two hours drive you can visit Edinburgh , Inverness , St Andrews , Glencoe, Fort William and Monarch of the Glen Country and Balmoral
